
A bathing beach located in Kirishima Kinko Gulf National Park. White beach and green pine trees spread for a few hundred meters. People enjoy the scenery of Sakura-jima over the tideland. The pine trees offers cool shades in the summer. Changing rooms and a shower house are equipped.Nagisa Museum, the nature rapport center on Shigetomi coast, exists beyond a path with pinecones for you to learn about variable ecosystem of tideland in the deeper Kinko gulf. (Closed on Tuesdays.)Fresh fishes are sold at a evening market happening from 16:00 on Sundays at Shigetomi Fishing Port across the Omoi River.Note: Currently clam digging is prohibited. Please do not bring back clams with you.
